Below the player selection there is a line like "501 · Double out · First to 2 Legs". Tap it to set up the match. The app remembers your choice for next time.

- How many sets and how many legs per set are played.
- The starting score. "Free" lets you choose any number from 2 to 9999.
- How a leg has to be finished: single, double or master out.
- Whether a double is needed before points count.
- Whether the number is a target ("First to") or a maximum ("Best of").
Starting score
501 is the standard in tournaments. 301 takes about half as long and suits beginners and short rounds. 701 and 1001 are mostly played in teams. For children or as a warm-up you can pick a smaller value such as 101 under "Free".
Checkout mode: how a leg ends
| Mode | The last dart has to … | For whom? |
|---|---|---|
| Single out | bring the score to exactly 0, on any segment | Beginners, children, quick rounds |
| Double out | be a double or the bullseye | Standard in clubs and tournaments |
| Master out | be a double, a treble or the bullseye | A middle way, popular in some leagues |
Check-in mode
With "Double", double in applies: your points only count once you've hit a double. The dart on the double already counts. Until then your player card shows "No double in yet". Most people play with "Single", without this rule.
First to or best of?
With first to 3 legs, whoever has three legs first wins, however many it takes. With best of 5 legs, at most five are played, so again whoever has three first wins. Both lead to the same result; they are just different ways of giving the length. With best of you should choose an odd number.
Sets
With more than one set it becomes a long match like at the World Championship: whoever wins the legs of a set takes the set. For a normal evening, one set of two or three legs is enough.
"Reset settings" below the start button resets everything to 501 double out and also resets the player names. The app asks first.
